The winds of change have again come to Possum Kingdom Lake with the opening of the Slalom Shop PK, formerly Quality Marine on LaVilla Road.
Rich Martin and Darrell Wilson have worked together at PK since the early 1990s.
“Quality Marine did service work for our customers on the lake,” said Wilson.

According to Wilson, the Slalom Shop in Lewisville had recently been sending technicians to PK as much as twice weekly to make repairs and perform maintenance for their customers who keep their boats on the lake.
“That is when we starting talking,” Wilson said at the grand opening on Saturday.
He said that it made sense for the Slalom Shop to have a sales office and repair service here.
Both Wilson and Martin have many years of experience in the marine business.
Wilson worked for the original owner of the Slalom Shop when he was in college and eventually went on to purchase the business in 1977.
